Collective holidays¶
A collective holiday is a group trip: the seaside, the mountains, a few days away. It has consequences for billing and for the health insurance funds, which must be told. Resthome handles the whole thing from one record.

1. Create the trip¶
Give the trip a name — something recognisable, such as the destination and the year.
Enter the departure and return dates. Resthome counts the days, both dates included.
Note the destination in free text.
Add the residents taking part.
The return cannot precede the departure
Resthome refuses a return date earlier than the departure date — a simple guard against a slip that would otherwise distort every day count.
2. Watch the quota¶
Each resident is entitled to 14 days of collective holiday per calendar year. As soon as you add residents, Resthome shows, for each of them:
the days already taken this year, across the other trips;
the days of this trip;
the total, highlighted in red if it goes beyond 14.
A warning, not a block
Resthome flags the overrun but lets you proceed: the decision belongs to the facility, which may have grounds for it. What matters is that nobody discovers the overrun after the fact.
3. Notify the health insurance funds¶
Click Communicate to OAs. Each participating resident receives a separate Annexe 7 notification, addressed to their own health insurance fund.
Two weeks’ notice
The funds must be notified at least two weeks before departure. If you send with a shorter lead time, Resthome records a warning in the record’s log but does not block the send — a late departure may be justified, and the trace is what matters.
Statuses¶

Key takeaways¶
One record covers the whole trip: dates, destination, participants.
The 14 days per year quota is checked per resident, with the year’s running total.
Communicate to OAs produces one Annexe 7 per resident, to their own fund.
Notify two weeks ahead; a shorter notice warns without blocking.
