Simulating a change¶
Simulate a change duplicates the calculation as a variant. Name what changes, adjust the figures — a hire, a different dependency mix — and compute.
The variant then shows the allowance and, next to it, the difference against the reference. The reference calculation itself is untouched, and the variants are listed under the Simulations button.
A variant starts without results
Duplicating clears the copied results. Otherwise the variant would show the parent’s allowance with a difference of 0.00 € before anything was computed.
Following the year in progress¶
A calculation marked Live tracking follows the period that is still open: it is recomputed every time the menu is opened, so you see where the facility stands without waiting for the period to close.
It is excluded from the reference calculations and from the dashboard, so it never passes for a settled figure.
It cannot be validated.
A nightly refresh exists, delivered switched off.
The dashboard¶
The Forfait dashboard of the reporting application reads the validated calculations: allowance per funding year, breakdown by part, staff, and dependency mix.
