Getting started¶
This guide introduces you to Resthome in just a few minutes: logging in, the available apps and the dashboard.
Logging in¶
Open your browser at the address provided by your facility.
Enter your email address and your password.
Click Log in.
Forgot your password?
Use the “Reset password” link on the login page, or ask your administrator.
The apps¶
Resthome is organized into apps, accessible from the main menu (the grid icon, top left):

Nursing Home |
Residents, stays, billing, dependency assessments and, where the country has them, the electronic exchanges with the health insurer. |
Care |
Prescriptions, care plans, vital signs, nursing notes. |
Meals |
Menus, diets, nutritional tracking, family portal. |
Configuration |
Rooms, rates, facility master data. |
Depending on your role (administrative, caregiver, kitchen…), you only see the apps that concern you.
In Belgium
The dashboard of the Nursing Home app shows the Belgian tasks: Katz to do, MDA to check, eFact batches. See Belgium.
The dashboard¶
The Dashboard of the Nursing Home app gives an overview:
the pending tasks (dependency assessments to do, checks to run, sendings to follow…);
clickable counters that open the relevant list directly;
the important alerts of the month.
Tip
Click a counter to open the list of items to process directly.
Finding your way around a screen¶
Left menu / top tabs: the sections of the app.
Breadcrumb (at the top): your position; click it to go back.
Gear button / Actions menu: the additional actions on the open record.
Chatter (right-hand column): the history and notes of a record.
